Teamwork — how do I do it?

Perhaps you're one of those people who does everything alone because you don't trust anyone, you think no one else will have the skills you possess, and out of fear that the work will be ruined, you carry the entire responsibility on your own shoulders.
Let me tell you something: you need to stop, take several deep breaths, and finally reflect on that situation by asking yourself these questions: Why did I hire these people? What qualities and skills does each one have? What goals do I have as a company, and how can they help me reach them?
Once you have the answers, you need to build a connection with your team, connect with them through communication, let them know what you plan to do and how you want to do it, and give yourself the chance to listen to each of their ideas. Try it as an exercise, apply it to some small project, test it, and then measure the results.
The main problem when working as a team is a lack of communication; communication needs to be emphasized. Shutting yourself in your bubble and assuming what your colleagues do or don't know only brings stress and anxiety. Bring your team together, tell them what's needed, talk to them about the project, and, most importantly, listen to them.
Feedback has to be constant so that the different members of your company aren't just there for decoration — you hired them for a reason. Don't just hand out tasks so everyone works on their own; motivate them and involve them in decision-making. Set shared goals that everyone feels invested in reaching. And above all, apply the following:
- Trust in everyone's good work.
- Be aware of each person's abilities so their tasks complement one another.
- Coordinate by acting in an organized way when managing time and tasks.
- Foster commitment.
- Communicate with the goal of understanding, analyzing and making decisions.
If you learn to collaborate and work together with clear ideas and goals, you'll get the best out of every member of your organization. Good teamwork boosts effort, harnesses synergy, and improves productivity.
